From World War II through the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”, we name and tell of the bravery of different queer soldiers. We also point out the various ways the military has sought to hide, shame, and silence their own heroes. These champions fought battles overseas only to come home to more hate and abuse. But their courage and valor stood true. Never forget the great sacrifices made for our freedoms. Evan when that sacrifice cost those serving their own freedom.
